silence, which have to hear the verses
vibrant and worthy of the glorious

May Revolution - May 25 Because
May 25 was celebrated gay
today's date;
a day like this, what happiness!,
freedom conquered the natives.

May 25, 1810 (Excerpts)
day dawned cloudy,
intemperate and ashen
cloudy, windy, cold, windy day
winter.
And souls woke
stormy as the weather.
flew low clouds, playing
low ceilings,
while the wind played
arc with hats.
and drizzle was falling
that soaked to the bone.
From top medians,
with pride and suspicion,
military and civilians,
teenagers and old,
humble and powerful
and even mulattoes and blacks, looking
two colors in lapels and hats.

Suddenly a hubbub
was
end to end of the square and then came
a great silence.

A half hour
immense joy erupted;
and although the sun was setting
had a moment illuminating.

On May . Rafael Ruiz López
I know why they are so cute
The bright days of May, does the flag
glad Sight, floating in the air;
Why Wears gala
The schoolhouse and the palace do applaud
happy, happy Why
sing.

Mayo has, in his days,
A date's lips pronounced
Love always, still trembling with excitement ...
A date's lips pronounced
Love always, still trembling with excitement ...
I know why this day is glorious
lucky
vigorous
born in freedom that we enjoy.

So jubilant patriotism

scream I am the first twenty-five May

noble Viva Argentina!
live the holy men, proud and generous
That
Their freedom conquered!
